Calm Of The Night by Carol B. Meenen
In the calm of the night,
I had experienced the fright
Of a very volatile situation.
When hark, you quickly hastened
To rescue me from the distress,
I calmly accepted your caress.
I was in no condition to see
What you would soon mean to me.
Now that I finally know
I am sure our love will grow.
I yearn for your presence and touch,
Cause I am sure you love me so much.
Soon the minutes, hours and days
Pass, there will be so many ways
You will express your devotion and love.
And as sure as there are heavens above,
We will be joined happily as one
To live beneath the moon, stars and sun.
